Farmers and their customers are moving beyond print and sign advertising. When you buy an advertisement in your local paper you are limited to the few words you can put in a one by two inch ad. Your potential customers are only the people who get the paper. When you have a website, you are unlimited in how much you can say about your products and your potential customer base is also unlimited. You can also add photos and graphics that really help show the quality of what you offer. Your customers get a real feel for who you are, for how nice your farm is, how healthy your vegetables and livestock are without actually visiting the farm!

A one page site is $100
Multiple page site, up to five pages, is $300
Six month maintenance plan at $50 per month with option to extend
(The maintenance plan is only needed if you don't have someone to maintain the site for you. The six months is a minimum commitment; after that we go month to month if you wish. The site will be written in standard code so any knowledgeable person can maintain it if needed. If you have a web guru available, we send all of the files to that person so they can upload it to any hosting provider.)
We own a small farm and know how expensive it can be when people like us go to commercial designers to get a nice site and how some companies retain control of the site to make you pay transfer fees if you decide to take your site elsewhere. You will own everything, including the files, domain name, hosting account, etc., so that there are no transfer fees if you decide to manage your site or transfer it to a hosting company of your choice. The only requirement we have is a small line at the bottom that shows that we created the site (like the one below).
What we offer is a good, inexpensive way for small farmers to advertise their business on the web. There are many more advanced features we can do, such as ip tracking, visitor analysis, etc. that we can discuss if you wish. Most people don't need these unless they get into high volume or want to target their sites to niche customers, but we can do them if you feel the need. There are additional fees for these as they require subscriptions and contracts with third party companies.
